My challenge is uncomfortable for me because...
The furthest I've ever run in at one time is 5km, so doubling that for 10 days straight makes me extremely uncomfortable, but It pushes me out of my comfort zone, just like Nedd’s journey inspires us all to do. I'm stepping up to this challenge to not only grow personally but also to raise awareness and support for We Are Mobilise, helping people in Australia experiencing homelessness.

Thursday 17th Oct Since signing up, I’ve been searching for the perfect spot to log some serious kilometres. I didn’t want a straightforward 10km route—it felt like it might be too easy mentally. I wanted something repetitive, like Nedd's run, that would push both my mental and physical limits. Eventually, I settled on a circuit at the sports hub near my house. Each lap is 1.5km, so I’d need to do 7 laps to hit my 10k goal. I gave it a test run on Tuesday afternoon, and it was exactly what I was aiming for. Counting down each lap, knowing how many were left, and pushing my body further with each one was a real challenge—but it’s one I’m excited to take on... Share
