My Challenge is to Run 21 kilometres EVERY DAY FOR 10 DAYS IN 2024
My challenge is uncomfortable for me because...
While i can now run, i feel each time i go out, it must look to rvery driver and pedestrian i go past, like my first time. It's not pretty, but I keep showing up as there are goals tp achieve.
Your comfort zone is exactly that. It's comfortable. People are happy there. People like it.
But over time you start to question if this is all there is. What else is out there. What am I capable of? What happens if I just take that first step...
To grow, we need to take that step out of this safe zone. It's hard, your brain tells you no, but your heart wants more. To override those thoughts, is where you start to change.
Good things don't happen in that comfort zone and if you stay there, if you do not try, you will never know what you are truly capable of. Imagine that. Imagine not knowing if you could, simply because you didn't try.
Nedds journey has been hugely inspiring to me. There have been many days when i haven't wanted to train, but him showing up on my Insta stimories every day doing amazing things has gotten me through.
I'm doing Nedds uncomfortable challenge so I can unapologetically be on your news feed for 10 days! I'm doing the challenge from 3rd - 12th October so I have time to taper before my Mara. I'm doing it, so you can jump on board and help him meet his target of $10m for Homelessness Australia.
So what's the goal?
10 days, 10 ½ marathons.
Lets go 🤟
Life is good, especially when you get uncomfortable!
