My Challenge is to Walk 22 kilometres EVERY DAY FOR 10 DAYS IN 2024
My challenge is uncomfortable for me because...
while it is a physical challenge, it will also be a mental endurance challenge to show up every day and put the work in.
I hope that my own discomfort can help raise awareness and funds for those experiencing homelessness. The discomfort that these individuals face on a daily basis, whether it be physical or social discomfort, will far outweigh my own challenge.
Many people experiencing homelessness are our most vulnerable groups: victims of domestic violence, people with mental health diseases, young persons, abused people ... the list goes on. I hope that my uncomfortable effort can help the life of even just one person.
