Team Description

We at Northside Movement love a little challenge to help us explore the unknown.. and Nedd has done an incredible job at showcasing the power of stepping into the discomfort and walking away a different person.  For years we've encouraged, supported, inspired and celebrated those that lean into the challenge.. and this will do exactly that.  

To bring this idea and then to use it as an opportunity to raise funds for homelessness is freaking awesome, so we're ready to do our bit to step out of our normal, to stretch ourselves and to collectively match the incredible feat of one determined human.

We'll be asking any of our 130 members to contribute their energy & sweat to the pursuit of 100 miles (160km) of rowing each day for 10 days.

We'll tally the contributions throughout the day on the blackboard, keep the momentum going with our own contributions and together help step outside the norm to do something uncomfortable.

And.. to really bring this together.. on Saturday the 26th of October in the afternoon we'll have 4 rowers tackling a marathon each with whoever we can get on each one to help get the job done.. followed by a pizza and beer to celebrate our hard work.

Bring on the sweat.

and bring on all of the good that comes with breaking down self perceived barriers and writing ourselves a new & exciting chapter.
