My Challenge is to Run 10 kilometres EVERY DAY FOR 10 DAYS IN 2024
Shout out to my cousin Oli for getting me running again…
I was truly inspired watching Nedd run across Australia last year. I’ve always liked running but lost my motivation for it a few years ago. Late 2022 my cousin, Oli inspired me to get back into running when he completed his first 50km Ultra trail run. I started slow and didn’t run consistently until April 2023 when Oli convinced me to do a 30km trail run which was in Sept 2023 (so I had some training to do). I’ve found my motivation to run again and consistently been running at least twice a week this past year.
Its become evident that I love a challenge so when I saw this one pop up I knew I had to join.
10km each day might not sound like a lot but for 10 days in a row it’s definitely going to push me out of my comfort zone.
I'm stepping up to this challenge to not only grow personally but also to raise awareness and support for We Are Mobilise, helping people in Australia experiencing homelessness.
